The Group of Francophone Ambassadors (GAF) in Tunisia attended a reception hosted by the Ambassador of France to Tunisia H.E. Mrs. Anne Guéguen, in honor of the Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and the French Abroad H.E. Mrs. Eléonore Caroit, who was visiting Tunisia on January 29, 2026..
On that occasion, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Tunisia H.E. Mrs. Dijana Ivančić spoke with the Minister Caroit about the common Serbian-French history in Tunisia during the First World War, as evidenced by the monument "To the French and Serbs who died for the Fatherland", located not far from the Serbian military cemetery in Menzel Bourguiba. She expressed her hope that friendly France would support the full membership of the Republic of Serbia in the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF).
