The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Tunisia, Mrs Diana Ivančić attended the opening ceremony of the 14th conference of Confederation of Italians in the World, which was held from 4th to 6th April 2025 in Tunisia, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad H.E. Mr Mohamed Ali Nafti, the Ambassador of Italy to Tunisia, H.E Mr Alessandro Prunas and the Ambassador of the European Union H.E Mr Giuseppe Perrone.
During the ceremony, the flag of the Republic of Serbia was brought in, given that the President of “Confimea Mediterraneo”, Mr Marco Burelli, was appointed at the Conference as the representative of Italians in Serbia.
The Confederation of Italians in the World is an independent non-governmental organization that brings together around 2,000 associations representing the multi-million-strong Italian community abroad. Most of its members are Italian businessmen. It has been active for more than 30 years in Italy and in 33 countries around the world, including Tunisia.
