Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Tunisia Dijana Ivancic met with the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ben Ayed, to whom she handed the original letter of the President of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Aleksandar Vučić addressed to the President of the Republic of Tunisia H.E. Mr. Kaïs Saïed regarding invitation for participation at the Specialised Exposition EXPO 2027 to be held from 15 May to 15 August 2024 in Belgrade. She expressed the hope that Tunisia will participate in this important international event.

In a very cordial atmosphere and in the spirit of traditionally friendly relations, interlocutors discussed the most important questions on the bilateral agenda, including the deepening of political dialogue and economic ties. They expressed satisfaction with bilateral political consultations which were held on the 13th September 2024 in Tunis and emphasized mutual determination to improve overall relations.

Ambassador expressed great gratitude to friendly Tunisia for the consistent support it provides us regarding the respect of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

They also discussed international and regional issues.
