Ambassador Dijana Ivancic met with Mr. Hichem Elloumi, President and Director General of Elloumi Group, within which the company for the production of automotive electrical cables and conductors COFICAB has been successfully operating in Serbia since 2016. As part of the Elloumi Group, COFICAB also has production factories in Tunisia, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, America, Mexico, Honduras and China, with a new one opening in Egypt.
The interlocutors discussed the economic development and potential of Serbia and considered the possibilities for further improvement of cooperation, especially considering the company Stifen, which deals with the agricultural and food sector, growing and freezing fruit, and is an integral part of the Elloumi Group.
Ambassador Ivancic informed that Belgrade will host EXPO 2027 and expressed her hope that Tunisia and Elloumi Group will participate in this important world event.
