Ambassador Dijana Ivancic attended the commemoration of World War I Armistice Day at the French military cemetery in Tunis.

During the ceremony, the flags of France and Tunisia were raised over the monument to the soldiers of the First and Second World Wars as well as other wars, and wreaths were laid in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of the National Defense of the Republic of Tunisia and members of the diplomatic and military corps. The laying of wreaths was followed by the intonation of national anthems of the two countries.

Ambassador of France H.E. Mrs. Anne Guéguen addressed the audience and spoke about the courage and sacrifice of the French soldiers who fought and gave their lives for freedom. She pointed out that France remembers the thousands of Tunisian soldiers who fought on the French side, for which she is eternally grateful.
