As part of the days and weeks of Francophonie, the Francophone Film Festival was organized in Tunisia, which takes place from June 3 to 15 in Tunis and from June 5 to 19 in Sousse, in cooperation with the Ambassadors of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors (GAF).
The festival aims to provide the Francophone audience and Francophiles with a rich program that testifies to the dynamism and creativity of the Francophone world. This year, the main organizer is the Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation in Tunisia, in cooperation with the French Institute in Tunis and Sousse.
The program includes about twenty films (short/feature-length, animated and documentaries).
The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia participated in the Festival with the film "A Cross in the Desert" directed by Hadzi-Aleksandar Djurovic, which was shown at the French Institute in Tunis on June 10, 2024.
The screening of the film was attended by Amb. Diana Ivancic.
