Ambassador Dijana Ivancic met today, on 1st March, with the President of the University of Tunis El Manar Mr. Moez Chafra, in presence of the Vice-President charged for the scientific research Mrs. Halima Mahjoubi. During the cordial conversation, President Chafra presented the University of Tunis El Manar, the oldest university in Tunisia.

Interlocutors talked about possibilities of development and promotion of the cooperation between our universities. Ambassador Ivancic presented to the President Chafra a project of the Government of the Republic of Serbia “World in Serbia” and pointed out that the participation of Tunisia in this project would contribute to the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation between two countries in the field of education and culture.

They agreed that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia should make a presentation for students of the University of Tunis El Manar of the possibilities of studying in Serbia, thanks to the above mentioned project.
